This beautiful stone cottage is situated in a small village in the heart of Portugal between Tomar and Ferreira do Zezere. The property although being nice and modern, catering for modern-day living, still blends in well with its surroundings.

The cottage has a nice homely feel and although maintaining some of its original features, it still has some modern ones such as preinstallation for central heating, double glazing and it's fully insulated.

Upon entering, we step into the spacious kitchen dining room. This room is a good size with a window providing lots of natural light and beautiful views over the countryside. The kitchen is modern and stylish with plenty of base and wall cupboards and granite worktop. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, cooker, extractor fan and dishwasher. The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing on sunny days at the water's edge.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours drive from the cottage, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low-cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
