A Praia do Zavial (tem um areal muito extenso que se torna mais amplo a poente, junto sua à entrada. Localiza-se na boca de um vale largo onde desagua a Ribeira dos Outeiros. Na falésia, a pouca distância para Oeste, estão as Ruínas do Forte e da Bateria do Zavial, datadas do século XVII. Esta praia é bastante procurada por amantes de desportos náuticos. É vigiada de 1 de Junho a 30 de Setembro, durante a época balnear. Tem Bandeira azul e título Qualidade de Ouro e Praia de uso e costume naturalista)
SEM PERMISSÃO DE CONSTRUÇÃO. Existe possibilidade de estacionar temporariamente uma caravana ou fazer pedido para licenciar um pequeno armazém de apoio agrícola.
